Weather for the Sailor

To serve the sailor community who are not computer literated and can’t make a blog themself we offer the creating AND contenting off your blog, all you need is a creditcard.

You give as much information as possible like pictures, crewmembers, stories, links, html page with knots, all u want to share with the world and we create a wonderfull blog. Look at the blog information sheet and answer as much as u like.

Because I’m a sailor myself and like to sail offline it’s possible your requests have to wait. This situation is not ideal so I will look for a companions. My goal is to work together with people who have access to the internet and know how to use it and especially wordpress, the blog program we use. So it’s possible u get a venezuelan woman who posts your letters. Because I believe in freedom the author (venezuelan woman) has the freedom to change everything on your blog. She can make wonderfull programs or monetize ur blog and make 1000 bucks out of it. When u want to author the blog yourself we can make special agreements. Even sharing is possible so u can do the posting or maintaining yourself.

What about the money:

80 $/ Putting your blog on the internet for fixed price.
After excepting the finished blog in one or two steps when necessary u pay and the blog will be activated for the public.
Blog creation (fullmoonblog.vantriest.org or your own name in wordpress2.2 with your wishes like fotoalbum, weatherinformation, introductionpage, birdspage, a few posts, nice picture in the front everything the creator can)

Template change(suppose you want the weather window to display information about the pacific instead of the atlantic=1hr)

Extended post(so a mail containing instructions on how to post with pictures, links, colors, embedded video etc.)

Small post (u send email with a story which is posted directly in the blog)

Profit
Maybe you have heard but some people make a milliondollar a year with their blog. The designer of your blog will earn 10$/month with adds guaranteed! Most likely that’s it! That’s why your payments are important to make it possible to live from serving you and other sailors. Profit above 100$ will be shared 50/50
When you post your story every month the site apart from the 80 dollar investment will cost u 120 dollar/year. Add income is 120 so every blog will do about 240$. Mary who loves to sail or Antonio the computernerd from Venezuela need to host 25 sailors blogs to make 500$/month and that’s modal in Venezuela. So everyday one post is a nice job it looks like but it’s for sure a fulltime job considering Mary or Antonie is author and designer!

Another example: u meet john, 17, a boatguide on the Gambia and his friend owns a e-company. John sells and his friend has a regular income and learn with the development of the blogs because they do the design as well for 20 worldwide blogs.
