The Weather Underground forecast for Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, shows a developing Eastern Pacific storm system will will produce moderate to heavy rain and snow showers as it advances across the Northwest. Meanwhile, a system pushing across the Northeast will generate snow showers and lowered temperatures.
